About Deep Blue Fluorite
Deep Blue Fluorite from Hunan Province, China is highly prized for its vivid cobalt-blue colouring, exceptional translucency and beautiful crystal quality. Commonly known in the mineral trade as “Blueberry Fluorite,” the name refers to its distinctive rich blue colour rather than a separate mineral variety.
These remarkable specimens are especially sought after because the Fluorite has naturally crystallised over Picture Jasper with small areas of white Calcite, creating a rare and visually striking mineral association. The contrasting colours, textures and crystal habits make every specimen completely unique and highly desirable for collectors.
