The trip to Lwena begins in Johannesburg, South Africa, where our supplier is located. The journey takes 12 days by car, but the final stretch is inaccessible by vehicle, so local scooters are utilised. From there, the rest of the journey is on foot, navigating uneven and often non-existent roads.

During the mining process, limited tools are used to carefully hand-mine the Kundalini Citrine. Once extracted from the earth, the crystals are typically covered in mud, making it challenging to spot each individual piece until they are washed clean.

Transporting Natural Kundalini Pineapple Citrine Crystal Clusters can be challenging due to bad roads and lack of packaging materials. Locally made baskets are used for careful transport, but some crystals may still break on the journey due to these conditions.
